  • يستخدم للتعبير عن العادات والحقائق الثابتة.

  • النفي: don’t / doesn’t + verb (He doesn’t like Maths.)
  • السؤال: Do/Does + فاعل + verb? (Do you like Science?)

الموضوع: الروتين اليومي، الأنشطة والأعمال المنزلية.

Lesson 1 Daily Routine (الروتين اليومي)

المفردات الأساسية:

  • wake up = يستيقظ | get dressed = يرتدي ملابسه
  • eat breakfast = يتناول الإفطار | go to school = يذهب إلى المدرسة
  • study = يذاكر | have lunch = يتناول الغداء
  • do homework = يؤدي الواجب | watch TV = يشاهد التلفاز
  • eat dinner = يتناول العشاء | go to bed = يذهب إلى السرير
نموذج وصفي للروتين اليومي:
I wake up at 6 AM. I get dressed and eat breakfast. I go to school at 7 AM. I study until 2 PM. I have lunch at 2:30 PM. In the afternoon, I do my homework. I watch TV in the evening. I eat dinner at 7 PM. I go to bed at 10 PM.

Lesson 3 A Busy Day (يوم مزدحم)

Yesterday was a very busy day. I woke up at 6 AM. I went to school and studied for 6 hours. After school, I did my homework. Then I helped my mother clean the house. I washed the dishes and swept the floor. In the evening, I cooked dinner with my sister. At night, I was very tired. I went to bed early.

Unit 3: What’s the Time? (كم الوقت؟)

الموضوع: الوقت، المواعيد، حروف جر الوقت.

Lesson 1 Telling the Time (قراءة الساعة)

طريقة قراءة الساعة:

  • 2:00 → It’s two o’clock.
  • 2:15 → It’s quarter past two.
  • 2:30 → It’s half past two.
  • 2:45 → It’s quarter to three.
  • 2:10 → It’s ten past two.
  • 2:50 → It’s ten to three.
السؤال عن الوقت:

  • What time is it? = كم الساعة؟
  • What’s the time? = كم الساعة؟
تمرين (Work Book): Write the time in words.
1. 3:15 → quarter past three
2. 5:30 → half past five
3. 7:45 → quarter to eight
4. 9:10 → ten past nine
5. 11:50 → ten to twelve

Lesson 2 Prepositions of Time (حروف جر الوقت)

حروف جر الوقت:

  • at: مع الساعة (at 7 AM, at noon, at night)
  • on: مع الأيام والتواريخ (on Monday, on June 5th)
  • in: مع الأشهر والسنوات وفترات اليوم (in January, in 2023, in the morning)

المفردات الأساسية:

  • news = أخبار | event = حدث
  • accident = حادث | celebration = احتفال
  • match = مباراة | festival = مهرجان
  • report = تقرير | journalist = صحفي
القواعد: Past Simple (زمن الماضي البسيط)

  • Regular verbs: add -ed (play → played, visit → visited)
  • Irregular verbs: تغيير كامل (go → went, see → saw, have → had)
  • النفي: didn’t + verb (I didn’t go.)
  • السؤال: Did + فاعل + verb? (Did you see the news?)
